Our story

As the owner of HOUND DOG RAW FOOD SUPPLIES, let me share with you my experience of feeding raw meat products to my own dog ‘Inka’

Having been an animal lover all my life, I’ve owned 4 German Shepherds and 4 Cats over the years and I thought I knew a little about the well-being of animals. I got it SOOO wrong !!

A couple of years ago, I took the advice of my older sister and decided to give Raw dog food a chance. I’d been spending a lot of money at the vets with Inka, with on-going digestion and stomach issues, itching and allergies so began researching raw diets advocated by dog nutritional experts and Vets alike.

Within weeks of transitioning from kibble to raw, I saw remarkable changes in Inka. She was more energetic, her coat was healthier, the scratching and itching subsided, she loved her meals and started to produce, what I could only describe as……. perfectly formed stools !

Fast Forward to today, and I have not been to the vets with any more issues with her stomach, digestion or skin irritation issues ! They are history and THAT is down to her new RAW diet.
